Asia-Pacific (APAC)   During the first quarter of
2021, Asia Pacific Fumaric Acid market witnessed
tight supplies due to the low inventory levels of

• Fumaric Acid is a colorless, hygroscopic,
  odorless, crystalline solid. It is also called
  2-Butaendioic Acid trans and has a chemical
  formula C4H4O4. Due to its hygroscopic nature, it
  is highly soluble in alcohol but partially
  soluble in water. It is found naturally in plants
  such as lichen and Iceland moss and like Vitamin
  D it is also produced on human skin when exposed
  to sunlight directly. Commercially, Fumaric Acid
  can be produced from Maleic Acid which in turn
  can be synthesized by catalytic oxidation of
  Benzene. Fumaric Acid can act as a buffer thus it
  can be used in bakery products as well. Owing to
  its binding property it can be used in paint
  industry and due to its acidulant nature it is
  widely used in pharmaceutical industry. Besides,
  it is used as a feedstock for the fabrication of
  polymer resin. Thus, its end use industries
