per MT and USD 1565 per MT respectively.

• Polyethylene Terephthalate is one of the most
  important thermoplastic polymer resins of the
  polyester family due to its extraordinary
  properties like chemical resistance,
  transmissivity and, strong strength to weight
  ratio. It is manufactured through Mono ethylene
  glycol (MEG) and purified terephthalic acid (PTA)
  or dimethyl terephthalate (DMT). PTA is more
  commonly used for the manufacture of PET than
  DMT. With the help of an esterification system,
  the PTA is mixed with MEG in a catalyst solution
  to form the product. The major applications of
  Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) are in bottling
  and packaging. PET resins can be broadly
  classified into bottle, film and fiber grade
  according to the downstream applications. Bottle
  grade resin is used in container and bottle
  packaging by blow molding and thermoforming.
  Fiber grade resin is used in manufacturing of
  polyester fiber, while film grade resin is used
  in flexible electrical packaging applications.
