• A Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is a video
  magnification system consisting of a video screen
  interfaced with a video camera.
• It is a collection of surveillance cameras doing
  video surveillance and the are monitored live.
• CCTV was initially developed as a means of
  increasing security.
