Ecolabelling Trust is an environmental labeling
programme that has been created to help consumers
find products that ease the burden on the
environment. The programme results from a New
Zealand Government initiative and has been
established to improve the quality of the
environment by minimising the adverse
environmental impacts generated by the
production, distribution, use and disposal of
products. Corporate Express is proud to have the

is a founding member of the Buy Recycled Business
Alliance A business-based, non-profit

Greenfleet Australia Corporate Express
subscribes to the Greenfleet carbon replacement
program. Greenfleet will plant 10 trees on behalf
of Corporate Express to offset greenhouse gas
emissions associated with the documentation for
10 tenders. This is helping to restore native
forests improving water quality, reducing soil
degradation and providing essential habitat for
native species.

New Zealand Packaging Accord Corporate Express
is a signatory of The New Zealand Packaging
Accord which is a voluntary initiative to cut
down on wasteful packaging. Those signing it (the
packaging packaged goods industry, local and
central government and the recycling operators)
are voluntarily committing to doing what they can
to reduce the proportion of packaging in our

RTS Toner Recycling Program In partnership with
Cartridge Rescue, Corporate Express encourages
customers to participate in the Toner Cartridge
Recycling Program, which involves the collection,
disposal and recycling of toner cartridges in an

EarthSaver brand was developed along
environmentally friendly lines. These products
do not harm the environment while in use are
manufactured using a specific percentage of
recycled materials and environmentally-friendly
practices and procedures or are biodegradable or

18- Corporate Express EarthSaver Criteria
In order for products to be categorised under the
EarthSaver classification, suppliers need to have
signed CE's Ethical Sourcing Policy and meet one
or more of the following criteria.
Products that contain a at least 20 of
recycled materials in the original manufacture
Products that are manufactured to IS014001 or
equivalent Environmental management systems
Products that do not harm or degenerate the
environment while in use (e.g., bio-degradable)
Products, that have at least 70 recyclable or
bio-degradable content when they reach their end
of life
