CreATivE OUTragEouS Day
So how can you participate on the day?? Organise
encourage people in your workplace or
organisation to wear a CreATivE OUTragEouS outfit
for the day - and make a gold coin donation to
CREATE Foundation and NAPCAN. Stroll down to
the Queen Street Mall during your lunch hour to
see the CreATivE OUTragEouS Fashion and Beauty
parades - showing off the outrageous creations of
three top CBD hairdressers. Will also include Le
Step dance demonstrations. All happening at
lunchtime on Friday 6th September between 11.30
am and 3.00 pm on the Wintergarden stage. Other
activities raising money for CREATE foundation
and NAPCAN on the day CreATivE OUTragEouS Party
at The Fish Bowl - Friday 6th September, 6.30pm
till late.. The Fish Bowl, Seabrae Hotel, Cnr
Anzac Avenue Marine Parade, Redcliffe. Adults

CreATivE OUTragEouS Day
So, aside from participating in the organised
activities, what else can you do?? Have someone
sponsor you, or someone else, to do something
particularly CreATivE or OUTragEouS, for example
get your boss to wear a tutu (or some other funny
outfit) for the day if a certain amount is
raised Approach your local hairdresser or
beautician to help you create an OUTragEouS look
- hair, makeup, nails, or body art!! Organise a
morning tea, a picnic or an outing around the
theme CreATivE OUTragEouS - use your
imagination! Add the CreATivE OUTragEouS theme
to an event you already have planned (Like the
PCYC dance party at Zillmere) Approach local
businesses or your favourite restaurant to get
involved by donating prizes or hosting their own
CreATivE OUTragEouS event (like the FishBowl at
Redcliffe who are holding a CreATivE OUTragEouS
Party) Ask your local theatre or arts centre to
promote CreATivE OUTragEouS Day by encouraging
audiences to dress accordingly (with prizes for
the most CreATivE and OUTragEouS) and add a 1 to
the ticket price Decorate your home, class room
or workspace in a CreATivE and OUTragEouS way and
charge people 1 to come and look Organise a
speaker to talk about how Child Protection is
everybodys business (CREATE foundation staff can
help with this) Give your pet a CreATivE
OUTragEouS makeover and tell everyone you meet
about CreATivE OUTragEouS Day Remember to take
lots of photos and send us a copy we want to
share in the fun!!
