used one would cost any where from 4-8 hundred
dollars. John Griffin suggested contacting Pepsi
or Coke and seeing how much it would cost to have
one brought in. Still working on the task list
for the club. John has gotten a few more ideas,
and added them to the list. The next work party
will be March 3rd. Trap 3 needs to be filled by
Wednesday trap. Ten pallets of targets are
ordered, but will not be here for a couple of
weeks. John would like to get a copy of the new
phone list to put in the book in the office.
Asked the question about how the cowboy action
container is coming. Steve will talk more about
that when his turn comes up. Got a notice from
the post office that our physical address is
changing. Will find out what it is and have it
posted on the website. Steve Reinhart Asked
the question as to whether or not Sumner has
canceled their shoot. Boone answered by saying
yes. He also brought up that he would like to
hold a benefit shoot and use two of the three
dates that they had scheduled. March 31st and
April 1st. More info to come, but all proceeds
and profits would go to Sumner to help rebuild
the club. John Thimmesch made a motion to hold a
benefit shoot for Sumner. Cork Carpenter 2nd the
motion. No opposing votes. Motion carried.
Steve is still trying to find out whether or not
we can have a container on the club grounds
legally. Jack Clements The end of April
beginning of May is the proposed date to start
the womans classes. A reporter from the Maple
Valley/Covington newspaper contacted the club
about coming out to do a story on concealed
weapons. She would like to come out and meet
with someone and possibly take some pictures.
Jack is going to get in contact with her and find
out exactly what she is wanting to write about.
When he gets more info, he will report back to
the board.

Best Singles Ad Ever Written This has to be one
of the best singles ads ever printed. It is
reported to have been listed in The Atlanta
Journal. SINGLE BLACK FEMALE seeks male
companionship, ethnicity unimportant. Im a very
god looking girl who LOVES to play. I love long
walks in the woods, riding in your pickup truck,
hunting, camping and fishing trips, cozy winter
nights lying by the fire. Candlelight dinners
will have me eating out of your hand. Ill be at
the front door when you get home from work,
wearing only what nature gave me. Call

waiting Over 15,000 men found themselves talking
to the Atlanta Humane Society about an 8-week-old
black Labrador retriever. (Men are so easy).
Jim Locke Jim has been in contact with an NRA
rep that is out of Olympia. Jim is going to
invite him to the club to see what we have to
offer and any suggestions he may have as far as
the rifle/pistol ranges go. We would like to
have him come to a board meeting. Jim asked
about getting a key to the post office box so
that when applications come in for the womans
class, he can get them right away. Adam let him
know that he has an extra key that Jim can have.
New business Laura asked about possibly getting
better access to the rifle/pistol range for
people in wheelchairs. Steve mentioned pouring a
cement pad that would connect to the already
existing sidewalk. Jim said, that if somebody
wants to build the forms he will get in contact
with Randy at Cadman and see what kind of deal we
can get on some mud. Jack is going to get
together with Laura and draw up a plan. Clete
also brought up the point of figuring in some
kind of drainage so the water has somewhere to
go. Jim is going to get in contact with Jeff
Phillips about a design. We are in the process
of getting all the numbers together for the good
of the order, so we will not be drawing any
numbers for now. Please get any advertising you
can for the August PITA shoot and get it to
Leslie. The kitty in the amount of 16.50 was
won by Bill Davis. Cork Carpenter made a motion
to adjourn the meeting. Jack Clements 2nd . No
opposing votes. Motion carried. Meeting
adjourned at 850pm Respectfully Submitted Adam

Strange Laws
In Texas, it's against the law for anyone to
have a pair of pliers in his or her possession.
In Philadelphia, you can't put pretzels in
bags based on an Act of 1760. Alaska law says
that you can't look at a moose from an airplane.
In Corpus Christie, Texas, it is illegal to
raise alligators in your home. In Miami, it is
forbidden to imitate an animal. It is against
the law to mispronounce the name of the State of
Arkansas in that State. In Illinois, the law
is that a car must be driven with the steering

Check It Out
Please check your newsletter carefully for range
closures. Closures are listed on the monthly
calendar and in the section titled Range
Closures. It is best to check in both places for
closures. Sometimes the phrase Range Closed is
omitted on the calendar due to the limited space
in the individual calendar date blocks. The club
is always closed during Law Enforcement agency
use. Note that the rifle/pistol ranges are closed
for shooting during the Continental League and
PITA shoots whether it is listed on the calendar
or not. This is a courtesy to shooters paying
entry fees and shooting for trophies. Please
check the Range Closure section for all scheduled
range closures. If you mistakenly remove the
Range Closed sign at the gate, please replace
it immediately.
