ABOUT UNIVERSITY
The IIMT University is a private university. In
fact, it is one of the top 10 Universities
present in Uttar Pradesh. Moreover, the Uttar
Pradesh government Act-32 conferred it the status
of University in 2016. Since then, the group has
grown and achieved unmatchable recognition in
corporate, academia, and professional
circles. The University hosts students not only
from all parts of India but also from neighboring
countries. It is a large and diversified group of
colleges. Besides, the University inputs
knowledge in the areas of Engineering,
Management, Pharmacy, Polytechnic, Education,
Journalism, and Law. Especially, the faculties
teaching at IIMT University have all the
qualifications and have years of experience in
their domain. It also has more than 18,000
students in various undergraduate and
post-graduate, and diploma programs.

HISTORY
IIMT University Meerut was founded by a
registered society called the Association of
Management Studies. In fact, seven Rotarians
formed AMS in 1994. Thereupon, AMS laid the
foundation of the first AICTE approved college of
Meerut in 1994. Consequently, it grew into a
large group of colleges, schools, and a hospital.
Hence, encouraged by all these initiatives, IIMT
University was established. It is in Uttar
Pradesh, India. Above all, the Government of
Uttar Pradesh recognized its status of a
University in 2016. IIMT University aims to
provide learner-centric education as well as
excellent academic ambiance. For instance, the
University keeps hosting Seminars, Conferences,
Guest Lectures, and Industrial visits. Moreover,
it believes in the all-around development of
students. While designing these programs, it was
kept in mind all the changes and technology
revolutions happening in the global world.

INFRASTRUCTURE

• Campus and Classrooms
• There are Smart classes with audio-visual
  learning material. Thus, students are able to
  grasp learning material.
• Conference hall with the facility of video
  conferencing.
• Round-the-clock water and electricity supply is
  available.
• The campus has Wi-Fi. So, it provides
  connectivity with the outside world all the time.
• Hostel and Accommodation
• In total, IIMT University has four hostels. They
  are available for both the gender.
• More than One thousand Five hundred rooms with
  the capacity to accommodate 3000 students.
  However, the rooms are available only on a
  twin-sharing basis.
• The rooms at IIMT are huge. Moreover, all the
  rooms have proper air ventilation, as well as
  good furnishing.

INFRASTRUCTURE

• Cafeterias
• In total, the University has six busy cafeterias.
  Thus, they provide many wholesome and nourishing
  meals to students.
• Delicious, wholesome, as well as nutritious
  meals, are available to students in hostel dining
  halls. Moreover, the Mess administration takes
  care of hygiene as well.
• A cafeteria serves mouth-savoring dishes.
  Besides, it is alongside a pond. Hence, it offers
  a serene natural ambiance.
• Other facilities
•  Facilities like Multi-specialty OPD, In-House
  Pharmacy, Advance Trauma Management, Radiology,
  etc. in IIMT hospital. Moreover, it also has 24
  hours emergency and Ambulance facility.
• Buses to provide efficient transport service to
  save time.
• A well-stocked central Library giving access to
  an extensive collection of books, International
  Journals, CDs, etc.
• There are Air-conditioned as well as well-stocked
  computer laboratories. They are also connected
  with Wi-Fi-connectivity.
• State-of-the-art modern out gymnasium (Separate
  Gymnasiums for boys and girls) with attached
  dressing rooms facility. So, it keeps the
  students physically fit and healthy because to
  excel in their studies and to be regular and
  punctual, one needs to be fit.

LATEST NEWS/ UPDATE
2 April, 2020 In line with the Corona Virus
outbreak, the Institute is organizing the
telephonic Personal Interview rounds for
applicants. Moreover, classes of ongoing batches
are now happening online. 26 June 2020 Both,
IIMT University Meerut Uttar Pradesh, India, and
University of Kashmir Srinagar, Jammu Kashmir,
India, signed an MOU. 14 May 2020 The World
Book of Records-London (United Kingdom) has also
recognized the commendable efforts and
contribution of Honble Chancellor, Shri Yogesh
Mohan Gupta Jee (IIMT University Meerut, Uttar
Pradesh) India. Above all, he is a silent warrior
in COVID -19 pandemic. He spread a spirit of
positivity.
