YXHT FM Transmitters Review (and Why You
Shouldn't Buy One)
An FM broadcast transmitter with high quality is
quiet necessary for FM broadcasting, espcially
for the large radio broadcast station in town or
community broadcasting. However, you will have
to consider some important tech specs of the
transmitter before placing an order, for example,
the audio
2
separation, audio distortion, signal-to-noise
ratio, etc. These specs are also what most buyers
care, without these, an FM transmitter is
completely seen as a piece of E-waste, not even
to say promised warrenty or product performance
listed in the seller ads. But, unfortunately,
dishonest marketing strategies, or let's just say
business fraud is still on especially in
broadcast equipment market. In buyers shoes, how
to avoid paying extra expenditure on the low
quality FM radio transmitters when facing
multiple options from different suppliers? Or,
how to pick up an FM broadcasting transmitter
that won't break down a few days after the buying
(seriously I mean it), and can really works well
for your radio station for like tens of
years? If you're running an FM radio station and
is ready to update your transmitters, or if
you're planning to build up a new brodacasting
station, you may need to take a few minutes for
the following reading.

A Preview on FM Broadcasting
  • First of all, I would say that the transmitter
    broadcasting quality
  • stands above all. This is a common standard for
no matter you're running a small or large radio
    station
  • If you want your radio listeners to receive a
super high quality audio signal from your radio
station, the follwing equipment are needed
  • FM radio transmitter
  • FM radio receiver
  • FM radio antenna
  • audio processor
  • mixer
  • speaker

4
  • cable
  • etc.
  • Which is the key equipment above all? Apparently,
    the FM radio transmitter.
  • However, as far as I know, to manufature a high
quality FM broadcast transmitter is always
expensive, since there are many expensive RF
components inside an professional FM radio
transmitter such as FM transmitter tubes (power
amplifier tubes), broadcast chips, LED front
panels, etc., all of these stuff will be well
assembled in a 1 unit or 2 unit (1U/2U) racks
    made of high-quality aluminum.
  • There are other costs in exception to the
production cost, for example, the management
costs, venue rental cost, advertising cost, etc.
  • Basically, the price goes higher as the quality
goes better, for example, a chip served in a 1KW
FM transmitter can be worth hundreds of dollars.
  • I'm pretty sure what it's like for some pro
factory for FM transmitter production willing
to spend huge labor costs on those

5
professional RF engineers and hundreds of
assembly line workers, only for high-quality FM
broadcasting quality. It goes without saying
that choosing a good FM broadcast equipment
manufacturer brand is very important.

broadcast transmitter should have
7
RF Spurious Emissions of high quality FM radio
transmitter Therefore, before we add the FM radio
equipment we want to the shopping cart and pay
for it, we need to carefully screen the brand of
the radio broadcast equipment Those excellent FM
broadcast equipment manufacturers have their own
"synonyms" in the industry. For example, Rohde
Schwarz's broadcasting equipment may be
synonymous with high-quality broadcasting
equipment such as "world-class, excellent
quality", but it may also be synonymous with
less satisfactory such as "high cost and low
popularity".
8
A good FM broadcast transmitter not only has
great advantages in price, but also excellent in
equipment performance. But for YXHT FM
transmitters, "the most deceiving" may be the
synonyms. Recently, I've noticed a relevant
case, a Chinese FM transmitter supplier name
YXHT is deceiving their consumers by reducing the
quality of the transmitters they sell. What do
they have in return? Well, continuously huge but
deceiving profits. That's why exactly you need
to pay extra attention to YXHT, because you may
be attracted by their misleading low price
marketing strategy and buy one of the YXHT FM
transmitters, after a few days testing and
working turn out to be repairment or returning
for the transmitter. In this share, you will
learn from some negative feedback of the YXHT (a
Chinese FM transmitter brand) customers, and few
key reasons why it is not suggested to buy any
FM broadcast transmitters from YXHT.

  • The business fraud research on YXHT will start
    with the following
  • content
  • Business Frauds on Deceiving Marketing Strategy
  • Business Frauds on Product Quality
  • Note
  • "Business Fraud" on this page refers to the
unfair competition of YXHT FM transmitter to the
    broadcasting equipment marketing industry, such
as falsely claiming that the actual output power
is only 600W FM broadcast transmitter has 1KW
output power, or forging FCC certificate, etc.
  • Keep exploring for more!

Business Frauds of YXHT on Deceiving Marketing
Strategy
Broadly speaking, business fraud is about someone
stealing money from someone under the guise of a
business transaction,
10
which is why it's important to be vigilant about
the types of fraud in business today. The best
way to protect your interests from fraud is to
understand the risks and take precautions, for
exampln, conducting a background check ahead on
the FM transmitter manufacturer you will be
buying. And the following content will be
helpful to enhance your business fraud research,
all rounding up from YXHT customers, to help you
understand, I will put it into the following
parts Fake FCC Certification of YXHT FM
Transmitter Thanks to the online feedback from
YXHY FM transmitter consumers, I'm able to check
the FCC certificate of YXHT myself, and guess
what I found eventually, fake FCC
certificate! Click the link below and follow the

YXHT used other brands of transmitter name CZE-7C
for tthe FCC certification application, and take
their 1KW FM transmitter instead for sale, which
is seen as an unbearable business fraud. Anyway,

2A6BQ-YXHT A Liar that is Selling JUNK on Amazon
15
Why would I think so? Well, as far as I know,
this is how you may search for an FM
transmitter 1 Google a famous B2C online
platform like Amazon.
2 Type in your keyword such as "FM transmitter"
or more specifically, "50W FM transmitter"
3 Click "search", and there you go
16
Let's see what we got, alright, a 0.5w FM
transmitter, ok that's cool, not what we're
looking for. What's next, a 15W FM transmitter?
Still not the target, so it means no 50W FM
transmitter is for sale on Amazon, right? Wait,
I found it
17
Ok, YXHT, here we meet again...Have you read the
content above carefully? If yes, you may notice
that YXHT is actually faking their FCC
certification of 1KW FM transmitters by applying
for a 5 watts FM transmitter CZE-7C, that is
actually one hard provement founded so far, and
here is another hard provement that really shock
me YXHT is selling fake products on
Amazon! Why's that? Simple answer is, no such
FM transmitters such as 50 watts or 100 wattts
are allowed to be sold on Amazon, unless you're
selling FM transmitters for car, such as a
bluetooth FM transmitter, well, that's OK on
Amazon, but a 50 watts FM transmitter? No
way! In order to increase their business
interests, YXHT used some kind of certification
of Bluetooth FM transmitter to certify their 50W
FM transmitter, and successfully bypassed
Amazon's regulatory mechanism. The only result
is to receive of complaints from their customers,
well, maybe after months or half a year, just
right after their junk FM transmitter broke
down, no Return and exchange, no fixing, no after
sales, the customers of YXHT were abndoned then.
18
  • But, through this folly of deceiving consumers,
    YXHT may gain
  • huge product sales which is correspond to the
volume of complaints from the customers.
  • Frauding money from every broadcast equipment
buyer, this is what YXHT is doing now.
  • Important Tips
  • According to the user agreement and rules of B2C
online platforms such as Amazon and Alibaba,
when the product you purchased does not match
the actual one, you can get a full refund.
  • That means, if you found that the FM transmitters
you have bought online does not match the actual
product description, you may still protect your
    interest by issuing a refund.
  • Lets take Amazon as an example, based on
Amazon's Return and Refund page, you can return
an item by following these steps
  • Sign in to your Amazon Account
  • Click the "Return Orders" button
  • Pick the item you wish to return
  • Click "Return or Replace Items"

19
  • Select the option on how to receive your refund
  • Pick the method of returning the item
  • Return the item using the method you chose
  • For more info please visit Amazons refund
    policies from below link

  • Fake Website Ads Information of YXHT FM
    Transmitter Factory
  • Then I was reminded to visit YXHT official
website, everything goes normal until this image
    shows up

Fake images of YXHT FM transmitter aseembling
20
If you are deep down in Photoshop for many years,
well, even if you are not, you can immediately
notice a problem THIS IS A PHOTOSHOPPED
IMAGE. If you carefully observe the two red
circles in the screenshot, you will easily find
that the content of the first circle is actually
artificially processed by the content of the
second circle. The content in the second circle
is four stacked transmitters, and the blue panel
is on the right, while the stacked transmitter
blue panel in the first circle appears on the
left. Therefore, it is not difficult to infer
from this that all the production images of YXHT
put on their official website is actually fake,
from the workers to the production rooms, ALL
fake. How absurd it is! Fake Addresses
Information of YXHT's Company Some of our
partners went for YXHT and turn out to find that
their address listed on their website doesn't
actually exist No. 159 Sifangtai Road, Tiexi
District, Anshan, Liaoning China

What YXHT actually use in their webiste YXHT is
lying to the consumers by faking addresses of
their company and factory, how dare YXHT!
Business Frauds of YXHT on Product Quality
22
Congratulations if you're still with the page, it
means that you are still concerned about whether
you can buy a good quality broadcast
transmitter. Fake Transmitter Output Power of
YXHT FM Transmitters Since there was no
debugging during installation, the workers did
not know how to adjust the parameters inside the
transmitter like a technician do, and what
resulting is in the production of 1KW FM
transmitters, some of which could only output
800W\600W\500W, here comes the funniest part,
YXHT then directly regarded these '1KW FM
transmitter' as 800W\600W\500W FM transmitters,
and put them for sale at very low prices.
23
Screenshot of YXHT 600W FM transmitter from
Amazon No offense, but the problem is, if the
impedance between the modulator and the power
amplifier board cannot be coordinated, the
transmitter may generate a lot of heat inside,
and after working costantly for a long time, the
amplifier tube may be over-heated and can easily
catches fire and finally burn out. What's more
deadly is not who installs these expensive
transmitters, but where they will go after they
are installed and what consequences will they
have for radio owners big and small. The result
is? You're wasting money, and your broadcasting
career may not be guaranteed. Appalling Test
Result of YXHT 1KW FM Transmitter from Our
Partner I'm lucky enough to have some real time
feedbacks of YXHT 1KW FM transmitters from our
business partner. I was told by my partner that
he bought a "1KW" FM transmitter from YXHT, but
after tested by the power meter, he then told me
that this 1KW FM transmitter actually has ONLY
600W transmitter output power.
24
I would say more, but I'd ruin the surprise.
25
Fake Tech Specs of YXHT FM Transmitters
26
What really drove most of the YXHT consumers
crazy is, YXHT is frauding their technology on
FM broadcasting. Let's go through some extremly
negative comment below https//www.aliexpress.co
m/store/feedback-score/910458274.html?spma2g0
o.detail.1000061.5.63ca7dd8GucgSU
To make it more clearer, here is a test spec
comparison chart (information all publicly
available) of YXHT and RVR. Conclusions are
drawn as followed
Terms YXHT FME-1BV1.0 RVR FM TX
Chips BH1414K Professional PLL Composite Stereo EncodingDigital Audio InputSCA/RDS Input

In-band Audio Flatness 1.5db lt0.5dB
Signal to Noise Ratio lt60db gt70db
Pre-emphasis Fixed and not adjustable 0us, 50us, 75us adjustable
You'll notice that YXHT is actually applying
BH1414K as the broadcast chips for their FM
transmitters, which is commonly considered as
"trash" in high quality FM broadcasting because
it is originally used in car FM radio such as
28
I'm also being surprisingly to see that YXHT
claims to use XLR aduio input in their product
description. It doesn't make sense because to
reach low distortion audio transmission through
the XLR audio input port, 3 RCA audio lines are
least needed, but for BH1414K, it can only be
plugged in no more than 2 audio lines. What's
more, BH1414K is actually with analog processing
technology, but YXHT claims to apply DSP (Digital
signal processing) instead.
This is a complete business fraud of YXHT. Much
disappointed! YXHT uses second-hand materials
for production
29
In order to verify whether the YXHT transmitter
is an expensive industrial waste, we specially
bought one and did some data tests. But before
the sharing, I think it is necessary to show you
something that really shock us after the teardown
of the YXHT FM transmitter. We've mentioned
above that the price of the YXHT transmitter is
far below than the average price of the market.
We guess it is because they use second-hand
materials for the productions. Then, after
teardown the top case of this transmitter, as
expected, we found that they used second-hand
power amplifier tube parts in their so called
high-power transmitters. Well, if you are know
RF pretty well, you will know that using poor
quality amplifier tubes and spare parts in
broadcast transmitters will cause two serious
problems one is you will often need to repair
your transmitters, another is you will often need
to buy a new transmitter for the
replacement. Lets talk about transmitter repair
stuff ahead.
30
First thing first, you should be aware of that
equipment using second-hand parts usually have
poorer stability and a shorter lifespan. For an
expensive product such as a broadcast
transmitter, using second-hand parts can
accelerate the aging of the transmitter and
greatly increase the chance of burning out. This
means that in some circustances, if you have a
broadcast transmitter from unreliable brands
(such as YXHT), in the absence of other
surprises, these equipment may suddenly fail to
operate (or even burn out), then you have to
find someone to repair it for you. Well, if you
are close enough to your sellers or RF
technicians/engineers, you don't need to worry
too much about the repairment cost, and the only
thing you need to consider is how to make
contact with them. But if you're way to far from
the sellers, you will have to consider the
transportation cost of sending it back to them,
although some sellers are willing to bear the
return shipping cost, time is a valuable thing,
isn't it?
31
Also saying, if you don't have enough resources
for the repairment, such as the budget, equipment
maintenance personnel, etc., your radio
broadcasting business will not be healthy! And
YXHT's claim of using the nominal 6-year product
warranty service is actually just a means to
cover up the poor quality of their products. If
you buy FM transmitters from YXHT, you will soon
encounter the problem of repeated repairment,
which may also be a large and unbearable
cost. You might say then, I don's care the
repair for a time or two, OK, that'll be fine,
but what if you need it repaired for like 5 or
7times? Would you still remain the same
position? To be honest, you can even buy more
transmitters with better quality (such as Rohde
Schwarz high-power FM transmitters) after a
few back and forth with the transportation costs
and tariffs you paid. Therefore, whether YXHT
promises a warranty of 6 years or 60 years
they've guaranteed for their product warranty,
you will gradually lose your trust and patience
in this brand under countless times of possible
repairs.
32
You may have to go up for new transmitters Our
RF team researched and found that YXHT had
used second-hand power amp tube parts in their
products and claimed these were factory new
machines. The truth is, they are not factory
new. The image below is their 3000W broadcast
transmitter. We found that the synthesizer
circuit of this transmitter is copied from
Elenos, and the power amplifier is also copied.
YXHT 3000W pcb board that copied from Elenos It
stands to reason that "copying" is also a way to
improve competitiveness, but the problem is that
YXHT only copied " the skin - outlook part" of
Elenos' FM transmitter, while the other half
part "blood and bone - RF debugging" is missing
due to lack of professional RF engineer.
33
Do really think this is over? Not yet! How about
these images of the pro RF test of the YXHT FM
transmitters?
Stereo separation chart tested by YXHT's BH1414K
device
30HZ-200HZ audio distortion has reached 10,
quite astonishing!
Conclusion
34
So, what makes the bad reputation of YXHT FM
transmitters? To put it simply No professional
RF engineer aside for technical guidance. Their
boards are plagiarized from early versions of
other transmitters. No expertise for
transmitter production, aseebling trainng of
workers and debugging and inevitably results in
unstable working condition for their
products. To summarize is, YXHT is totally
conducting business fraud to the consumers. You
may understand from their deceiving marketing
strategy such as using fake FCC certification,
fake website ads information, fake addresses of
factory and company, or learn from their business
frauds of product quality such as the fake
transmitter output power, fake tech specs or the
second-hand materials they used for FM
transmitter production. For me, the integrity is
the ultimate virtue of an enterprise, no one can
go any further by keeping lying on the consumers.
35
Question is, are you still willing to pay
thousands of dollars for their broadcast
transmitters, and take the risk of burning out
and repeated repair after all that is
proved? For most customers, the answer is NO,
what about you? If yes, well, you will be in a
dilemma, either return the transmitter to YXHT
and pay for the repair, or replace the old one
with a new transmitter, which is also a lot of
cost. For many buyers with or without an FM
radio station, it is better to buy a stable FM
transmitter instead of spending reaptead money
on those e-trash. Piece of advice? Go on with
enough research before buying and stay away from
YXHT supply.
