Loose EndsThe 1st Production Meeting

• Stress the Calendar. Make it based on 1st
  Performance and work your way backwards.
• Include
• Publicity photos and calls (collaborate with
  costumes, lighting, props, scenery, publicity)
• Lightplot, hang and focus in the space. When can
  actors be in the space, safety!!!
• Be props best friend, set a date for changes.

1st Rehearsal

• Hospitality check with the producer to access
  how elaborate it should be.
• 3 people have business at the 1st rehearsal.
• Actors Equity Association Representative
• Production Manager (contracts, paperwork,
  company packets and rules)
• The press representative (PR information)
• Set an agenda with the director
• Usually table work precedes blocking
• Calendar with the cast (fittings scheduled)
• Call Board and contact information.

Rehearsal Report Forms

• Dailey rehearsal Reports are sent to each
  department the Design Team
• Primary purpose is to serve as the as the only
  complete log of the rehearsal period. Accuracy is
  essential.
• Keep it professional.
• It is for book-keeping as well, start and end
  times are essential. Any late actors need to be
  documented.
