Notes Our signature 2005 Petit Sirah offers
rich, approachable, full-bodied flavors and
supple tannins. The Lodi appellation fruit, aged
in handcrafted, small oak barrels provides
backbone and structure to this lovely wine. Enjoy

Notes The challenge with Petite Sirah is taming
the tannins that naturally exist within the grape
itself due to the berry size and high skin to
juice ratio. To create a refined and approachable
style, we start with Lodi as the focus
appellation. Older vines and warmer temperatures
ensure grape maturity. Fermenting all of the lots
in Stainless Steel allows us to capture the
bright berry fruit intensity. Aging some of the
lots in Stainless allows us to keep that bright
fruit and acidity while the lots aged in French
and American oak lend undertones of vanilla
crème brulee while softening the tannins and,
enhancing the structure. All factors combined,
create a balanced style that is un-mistakably
Petite Sirah.
