STSM Goals

• allowing scientists to go to a laboratory in
  another COST 626 country
• learn a new technique in data collection
• make measurements using instruments and/or
  methods not available in their own laboratory

• Work primarily focus on
• comparison of strategies for data collection in
  rivers (biotic/physical)
• development of instrumentation techniques between
  different countries
• set up guide lines for standardized
  physical/biological measurement methods and use
  of equipment

STSM Budget

• Available amount
• 11.500 in total
• 10.500 for short term scientific missions
• 1.000 administrative costs
• Minimum 7 missions
• 1.500 average contribution per mission

• All members of COST Action 626 member states can
  apply (Travel to another COST 626 member state
  having signed the MoU)
• Send all necessary papers to Helmut
• Decision made by a committee after prioritising
  (administrator, WG leaders, Atle)
