Hibernia Project
  • Gravity Base Structure (GBS).
  • GBS built entirely at Bull Arm site.
  • 550,000 tonne concrete base.
  • 37,000 tonne topsides.
  • 1.3 million bbls of internal oil storage.
  • First oil November 1997.
  • Cumulative production to June 2007 545 million
    barrels.
  • Reserves
  • Oil 1.244 Billion bbls.
  • Gas 1.8 Tcf.
  • NGLs 202 Million bbls.

In June 2006, the C-NLOPB announced an
increase in recoverable reserves of 379 million
barrels.

  • First Floating Production Storage and Offloading
    vessel (FPSO) in North America.
  • 292.2 m long and 45.5 m wide.
  • Storage capacity 960,000 bbls.

    barrels.
  • Reserves
  • Oil 360 million bbls.

  • Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessel
    FPSO.
  • 300m in length, and 45m in width.
  • Storage Capacity 940,000 bbls.
  • First Oil in November 2005.
  • Cumulative production to June 2007 54 million
    barrels.
  • Reserves
  • Oil 283 Million barrels.
  • Gas 2.7 Tcf.
  • NGLs 96 Million bbls.

Huskys 2006 Jeanne DArc drilling program
resulted in an announcement of an increase in
recoverable resources of 190 million barrels.

Aging Workforce
  • relatively few oil and gas extraction workers
    are in their teens or early 20s. Over 65 of the
    workers in this industry are between 35 to 54
    years of age. On average 40 of the industrys
    workforce is expected to reach retirement during
    this decade.
