Design

• Our design is to pump water from Lake Placida to
  the top of the Esbenshade Physics Workshop Room.
• We plan to do this by using PVC pipe to pump
  water up the side of Esbenshade to the roof,
  where it is to be stored in a pool.
• The water will be pushed up using a pump, and
  will run back down to the lake when needed
  through a turbine.

Design

• The pipe running from Lake Placida to the roof
  will be covered by a makeshift speed bump, so
  that it does not impede traffic for Leffler
  Chapel.
• The pipe will be braced to the windows of
  Esbenshade for the preliminary testing with
  suction cups.

Design

• Conventional pumps can be used as substitutes
  for hydraulic turbines. When the action of a pump
  is reversed, it operates like a turbine.
