    some industries earned considerably more.

    and coordinate the operations of an organization
    and its major departments or programs. The
    members of the board of directors and lower-level
    managers also are involved in these activities.
    Many other management occupations have similar
    responsibilities however, they are concentrated
    in specific industries or are responsible for a
    specific department within an organization. A few
    examples are administrative services managers
