Kent Lifestyle Survey 2005
What is the lifestyle survey? 5,800 adults
across Kent responded to a postal survey
enquiring about their health and lifestyle. The
survey found that - in Kent

• 14.3 men and 15.8 women were obese
• 49.3 eat at least 5 pieces of fruit and
  vegetables a day

• About 1 in 4 men and women are exercising for 30
  minutes on 5 or more days a week
• Housework, walking and workplace are where most
  people kept active

The survey was commissioned by Kent County
Council and carried out by the Health and Social
Survey Unit at the University of Kent. To find
