Ambrose Salmini Chairman and Executive
Producer Ambrose Salmini has been active in
broadcasting such participant sports as running,
cycling, triathlon and in-line racing for more
than 25 years. Among his clients have been ABC,
CBS, NBC, ESPN, TBS and PBS. Ambrose was
co-founder and race director of the first major
east coast triathlon, the Mighty Hamptons. He
was founder and executive producer of the
following broadcast series Running Racing,
Road Race of the Month, Athlete, World of
Aquatics, Running New York, Finish Line and
Marathons. Ambrose was formerly President of the
New York Athletic Club Runners Club, and founder
of sportfilm.com, a leading site for sports video
on the web. Ambrose is also President of Salmini
Films, Inc., a company that has the largest
participant sports video and film library in the
world. Rick Penque VP of Marketing and
Business Development Rick has an extensive
background in sports and event marketing. At
Salmini, Rick handles all sales, business
development and marketing functions in addition
to domestic and international distribution of
Salminis properties. Prior to Salmini, Rick
developed and managed ETRADE's sponsorship
marketing programs, including sponsorship of the
ETRADE Super Bowl XXXIV Halftime Show. Rick
also served as a Business Development Manager at
the New York Road Runners Club, developing
sponsorships for the New York City Marathon and
other prominent NYRRC properties. Rick also
worked in a PR capacity on Sports Companys
Tour of America, a series of professional
cycling races.
