  • Easier life than most
  • Harder to get scholarships
  • Around the same type of people all the time
  • Not the typical Preachers kid
  • Family is very close
  • Someone opposite of me
  • Work harder
  • Around different types of people.
  • Gets teased for different reasons.
  • Might be harder to make friends

How did I become me
  • Work in the retail world
  • Used to work at a Dry Cleaners
  • I am a preachers daughter.
  • Went on a mission trip to Honduras.
  • Went on other mission trips
  • Very close Family
  • Went to a Southern Baptist Liberal Arts College

How do they see me
  • Like to go shopping
  • Like to get a makeover
  • Like to try to look pretty
  • BUT ALSO.
  • Like to camp
  • Like to ride four wheelers
  • Like to be outdoors
  • Like to hunt and fish with my granddad.

How can I make a difference
  • Weaknesses
  • Dont know the practices of the North.
  • Not sure the best learning methods for the
    different ethnic groups.
  • Dont know the different religious practices.
  • Strengths
  • Went to Honduras and saw many different types of
    people
  • Live in two different counties, so I went to two
    different high schools which were very different.
  • Very accepting of everyone.

  • Multiracial Boy
  • Show them that they are special
  • Help when they need help
  • Dont give up on him
  • Get parent involvement
  • Dont point out that he is different
