5I Kings 224 -25
- Now therefore, as the LORD lives, who has
established me and set me on the throne of David
my father and who has made me a house as He
promised, surely Adonijah shall be put to death
today.
6I Chronicles 2910-13 (NASB)
- So David blessed the LORD in the sight of all
the assembly and David said, Blessed are You, O
LORD God of Israel our father, forever and ever.
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the victory and the majesty,
indeed everything that is in the heavens and the
earth Yours is the dominion, O
7I Chronicles 2910-13 (cont)
- LORD, and You exalt Yourself as head over all.
Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule
over all, and in Your hand is power and might
and it lies in Your hand to make great and to
strengthen everyone. Now therefore, our God, we
thank You, and praise Your glorious name.
8I Chronicles 2914-16 (NASB)
- But who am I and who are my people that we
should be able to offer as generously as this?
For all things come from You, and from Your hand
we have given You. For we are sojourners before
You, and tenants, as all our fathers were our
days on the earth are like a shadow,
9I Chronicles 2914-16 (cont)
- and there is no hope. O LORD our God, all this
abundance that we have provided to build You a
house for Your holy name, it is from Your hand,
and all is Yours.
10I Chronicles 2920 (NASB)
- But who am I and who are my people that we
should be able to offer as generously as this?
For all things come from You, and from Your hand
we have given You. For we are sojourners before
You, and tenants, as all our fathers were our

14Principles of Money
- Everything a Christ-follower has belongs to the
Master. - Christ-followers are responsible for how they
manage the Masters stuff.
- Money can be used to invest for eternity
15Money cuts deeply into character. Its a
spiritual barometer, a far more accurate index of
your relationship to Jesus Christ than any other
element, including prayer, Bible reading and
witnessing. Howard Hendricks
16Jesus wasn't for or against money. His focus was
on our hearts. He was more interested in our
motives than our moneyAccordingly, I believe
Jesus wants us to be rivers instead of
reservoirs. Just as a river allows fresh water to
constantly flow through -- we need to hold God's
blessings
17loosely. We can, and should, enjoy the material
gifts God brings into our lives. But we need to
"be ready unto every good work" (paraphrased from
Titus 214) -- ready to share and pass what we
have on to others.---Steve Diggs
18David created a culture of generosity.
19David challenges the next generation to walk
with the Lord.
