The Assembly Line

• Henry Ford wanted cars to be made faster so they
  wouldnt cost that much.
  
• To make the cars faster Henry Ford put the cars
  on a conveyor belt.
  
• The workers added parts on each side while the
  cars were moving along the assembly line.

Some facts about Henry Ford

• In 1863 Ford was born on a farm near Dearborn,
  Michigan on July 30.
  
• In 1903 Henry Ford started the Ford Motor
  Company.
  
• In 1888 Henry Ford married Clara Bryant.

If There Were No Assembly Lines

• It would still take 12 hours to make one car.
• The cars would be more expensive.
• We are so grateful for the assembly line because
  now everybody has a car to drive.
