- Analytical and testing services functions were
transferred ATL on May 16, 2005 - ATL is the first small business prime contractor
employed by the Laboratory - ATL operates under Tank Farm Contractor who
provides facility maintenance and engineering,
environmental, and nuclear safety

- Services provided to Hanford and all DOE sites,
including non-proliferation - Testing and analysis supporting
- RCRA site closure (tank closure) analyses
- Decommissioning and decontamination analyses
- Site operations analyses
- Waste retrieval, treatment, and disposal

Under ATL, received AIHA and WDOE accreditation.
- Perform approximately 25,000 inorganic, organic,
and radionuclide analyses - Process approximately 3,000 intermediate to high
level radioactive and/or hazardous samples
received from multiple locations and entities on
the Hanford Site - Receive samples up to 300 Rad/hr, with a
significant part from gamma radiation - Use hot cells to process alpha emitters, TRU
