• To design a procedure for teaching how to use a
  computer to aged newbies.
• May involve new h/w and s/w designs or modifiying
  existing designs.

• To understand user-inertia in learning computers.
• To understand the processes involved in learning
  computers.
• To discover incentives for learning computers for
  the elderly.
• To come up with a solution to the issues outlined
  above.

Insights

• They have time to spare! But passing time is
  important.
• Social interaction is the key.
• Procrastination.
• They know that technology is here to stay.
• Familiarity with computers is quite desirable as
  an aid to livelihood.
• Society has a lot of impact on individuals.

• No one to guide.
• Computers are impersonal and lack aesthetic
  appeal.
• The community is unenthusiatic as a whole (even
  for free tuition).
• Hardware is difficult to use.
• Information-overload and feature-overload.
• High intolerance towards any change.

  curtailing it.
