Fixed Price Quotation Broker Offering fixed
prices for fluctuating commodities

• The Fixed Price Quotation Broker
• Extends the use of the GridEcon marketplace by
  offering future contracts, making advanced
  planning of Grid use possible
• Acts as an intermediary on the market, without
  owning any resources
• At the time of delivery, buys the resources from
  the market and delivers to the users (see
  sequence diagram below).

• Our Achievements
• Designed an FPQB framework that allows
  experimenting with various pricing algorithms
• Developed a platform for modelling and testing
  business models, based on a service-oriented
  reference architecture.
