  prophet
• V.17-22- Jesus read, commented, and was praised -
  A fruitful field of labor?
• V.23-30- The show was over when the preaching
  started.

Scriptures were gracious as long as they were
not applied!

What Came of their Rejection?

• Loving, respectable, attentive worshippers were
  filled with rage and ready to murder
• They could not hurt Him
• They hurt themselves because Jesus went elsewhere.
