In an effort to facilitate the organization and
set-up for the event, Tau Beta Pi has created
this Company Guide, which includes tips and
information pertaining to general logistical
preparations.

registration is a resume book subscription. If

What to Bring
The following list contains some items that
attending companies may find useful for the
career fair Large Banner / Backdrop A large
banner or backdrop will attract passing students
attention as well as make it easier for students
to find your company. The banner can be in the
form of a table cloth bearing the companys name,
and can be used to cover the table at which your
companys representatives will be stationed. A
table of size 30 x 72 will be provided by Tau
Beta Pi. Flyers / Brochures Flyers should
contain the companys profile as well as
pertinent employment opportunities available in
the company. Students find these brochures very
useful as a reference during the application
process. Business Cards Business cards function
as a means to give students contact information
of company representatives. By providing business
cards, students have the opportunity to contact
company representatives to ask questions or
express further interest. Name Tags We
encourage the attending companies to bring name
tags for their representatives, which helps
students to appropriately address the
representatives. Promotional Goodies Bringing
and distributing promotional goodies has helped
attract students and provide additional
publicity. In the past, companies have brought
goodies like candy, stationary, pencils and pens,
t-shirts, cups and toys that bear the companys
name or logo. Raffle Prize To promote student
attendance, raffling of small prizes will occur
periodically over the course of the career fair.
We would appreciate if attending companies could
contribute 2 to 3 prizes. In the past, prizes
have included things like USB Flash Drives, bags,
hats, software or other company products. Prizes
may have company logos imprinted on them for
publicity purposes.

Shipping (to Berkeley) Please ship all company

Please also ensure that your company name and
"TBP Career Fair" appears prominently on all
packages. We will deliver each companys packages
to their respective booth the day of the career
fair. Shipping (from Berkeley) Companies are
responsible for shipping materials back from the
career fair. Tau Beta Pi cannot be responsible
for materials left at the career fair please be
sure your representatives ship materials at the

Logistics Parking Directions
Parking Tau Beta Pi will provide on-site parking
spots based on the number specified by each
companys registration form. Parking permits
will be mailed out as soon as possible. Directio
ns Pauley Ballroom is located in the M.L. King,
Jr. Student Union at University of California at
Berkeley campus. The precise location of M.L.
King, Jr. Student Union building can be found at
