Description

• We collect and distribute clothes, toys,
  electronics, toiletries and books for children at
  risk in the Merrimack Valley community.
• Until now, this has been done only at holiday
  time and we want to make this a year round
  project.
• We work with the social workers at DSS and other
  agencies.

Our History

• Started in the year 2000 collecting books and
  stuffed animals.
• We are three children who are adopted by loving
  families who want to give back to our
  communities.
• We have improved our collection and distribution
  each and every year.
• We have expanded what we collect.

Achievements

• In 2006, we collected and distributed over 6,500
  items to DSS, Greater Lawrence Family Services,
  and Somebody Cares.
• In 2006, we collected over 1500.00 and bought
  special items like coats, cds and Christmas
  trees.
• In 2005, we collected over 2,000 items.
• In 2004, we collected 500 items.

Dedication

• In 2006 we named the project after our favorite
  social worker at DSS Deborah DIorio who died in
  November of 2006
• We dedicated the project to her because she
  dedicated her life to children.

Technology

• We are all able to use computers so that we can
  communicate with our donors and other charities.
• Our parents let us use their law offices for
  photo-copying and faxing.
• We use our home phones, as well as our parents
  business phones and our cell phones.
