Conditions of Being Salt Light

• Salt needs to retain its saltiness, (v. 13).
• Retain Christlikeness. Hunger thirst for
  righteousness live out the Beatitudes.
• You cant live in isolation.
• Light cant be hid, (v. 14b-15).
• Impossible to hide.
• Defeats the purpose of light.

Why be salt light?

• We were meant to be such, (Ephesians 28-10) (pg.

• Our position becomes not only contradictory, but
  even ridiculous if we dont act in this way.
• To not act as salt light is to render ourselves
  entirely useless for Christ.
