• The Centre for Geospatial Science at Nottingham
  University (UK) was established in November 2005
  as a cross-faculty post-graduate research centre.
  
• The research focus of the Centre is SDI,
  geospatial intelligence, geospatial
  interoperability, and location-based services.

• computer and information sciences
• mathematics
• human factors
• A mix of cultural perspectives is seen as
  important. CGS currently has researchers from 8
  nations and 5 continents.
• Researchers include people with industry as well
  as academic backgrounds
• CGS runs an MSc by Research in Geospatial
  Intelligence and supports the MSc in GIS.
