What to notify?
  • Must submit the WHOLE schedule for a seasonal
    period.
  • Minimise errors.
  • If no change, write to BR without submitting
    schedule.
  • A common text format.
  • Any text editing software can be used to prepare
    schedules.
  • Currently used by many administrations,
    broadcasters.

  • Frequency
  • Start time
  • Stop time.. Etc.
  • Use of reference tables
  • Simplifies notification.
  • Reduces errors.

When to notify?
  • 4 months before Start Date
  • End of November for A season (March-October).
  • End of June for B season (October-March).
  • Last amendments 2 weeks before.
  • Any time during the season.
  • Amendment received less than two weeks before the
    publication date will not be included.
  • Circular letter to all administrations.

No schedule is submitted?
  • BR shall use the requirements from the previous
    corresponding season schedule.
  • BR advises administrations concerned.
  • Once only !!

How is the data published?
  • On a CD-ROM.
  • To subscribers only.

What does the CD-ROM contain?
  • Updated schedule.
  • Propagation analysis of individual requirements.
  • Compatibility analysis.
  • Latest versions HFBC Software.

How often is data published?
  • Two tentative schedules are published before the
    start of the season.
  • At the start of the season.
  • Updated schedule during the season.
  • Final schedule - one month after the end of the
    season.
