What is it?

• Kabbalah is a form of Judaism, practiced
  esoterically, meaning only highly skilled and
  knowledgeable people are worthy of practicing
  it.
• Kabbalah aims to reveal the bonds between many
  aspects of our cosmos, including links between
  our world, the spiritual worlds, etc. A lot of
  Kabbalah is purely theoretical, but whatever the
  theory, the concept of opening yourself up
  (becoming more receptive) to the world is a moral
  that can easily be understood and explained.
• Kabbalah can take on many forms, the most
  accurate being the ancient Judaic form, the
  least accurate being the modern-day form, which
  takes a page from magic and the occult.
• Its teachings and traditions started to form
  around the time of Adam.
  
• They created a tree of life diagram (on the
  next slide) which attempts to describe the nature
  of the universe, God and the way in which God
  made creation out of nothing.
