December, 2008 Greetings. As I reflect back
upon the six years I have been at FSU, the
magnitude of change that the campus has undergone
is nothing short of amazing. From January, 2003
through December 2008, we delivered 51 new
facilities on various FSU properties and
performed another 13 major renovations (gt1
million/ea). These projects represent over 800
million worth of construction and add nearly 4.5
million square feet of building space to our
campuses. The bulk of these new facilities and
renovations have occurred on the FSU main campus,
but we also have projects located at various
other locations. The following slide show will
provide you with a chronological overview of how
our campuses have grown over the past six years.
I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as Sue Rice,
David Thayer and I enjoyed creating
it. Thanks, Dennis A. Bailey Associate Vice
President for Facilities The Florida State
