- Bibliographic software package for creating and
managing your references. - Simple way to search many online bibliographic
databases and retrieve the references directly
into Endnote. - Can also import data files saved from online
services, CD-ROMs and library databases

- It will also store and reference images, charts
and figures. - Endnote will create a bibliography as you write
your word document or manuscript. - MAJOR timesaver.once you have put in the effort
of setting it up and learning how to use it.

- Organises that ever increasing pile of paper on
your desk! - Once set up you have a personal searchable
database - you can quickly search for references
containing particular words/phrases. - Can easily identify which papers you already have
and which ones you may want to photocopy on your
next trip to the library. - Makes it a lot less time consuming when writing
reports and theses. - Record and reference electronic sources, and
hotlink URL or directory locations.

- Start menu, All Programs, EndNote, EndNote
program - First Dialog box Allow you to create a new
library, get more information about EndNote9 or
opening an existing library - To open a library you can click on browse and
select a file - Or click on file menu and choose open
