• DO think about your strengths and weaknesses

• A pre-apprenticeship course covering the
  technical needs for the vehicle repair industry

• A vocational course which looks at how sport
  is applied to the work place and to healthy
  lifestyles

Points to consider

• Some subjects can be taken in the Sixth Form even
  if not taken at GCSE - eg Business and ICT
• Others MUST be taken at GCSE in order to be taken
  in the Sixth Form - eg French

Points to consider

• Triple Science is taken in core science lessons
  and as one of your option choices
• GCSE or BTEC PE is taken during core PE lessons
  so does not use up one of your option choices

• Some students would do better if they study fewer
  GCSE courses.
• We will talk to those students and their parents
  where we think a different route may be better

• We cannot guarantee that all courses will run
  they depend on numbers
• We strongly recommend Languages for most students
• We recommend a RANGE of courses, rather than a
  narrow choice
