  • Review the work to date
  • Develop the mini-vision of your KPA
  • Assess the current situation of your KPA come to
    a common definition of the issues within your KPA
    (avoid jumping directly to developing
    strategies)
  • Identify the priority issues (goals) within your
    KPA
  • Develop a rationale statement for each priority
    issue
  • Identify the strategy or strategies to address
    the priority issue
  • Develop big action steps for each strategy
  • Identify impacted and affected parties who must
    be involved in the implementation of each action
    step.
  • Develop the timeline
  • Identify resource options
  • Develop Measures for the KPA

  • 10 minute presentations followed by 15 minutes of
    questions/answers, feedback
  • Reports, feedback and consensus with the
    stakeholder group help us in the following ways
  • Prevents narrow interests from dominating the
    planning
  • Helps identify areas of overlap/integration and
  • Provides buy-in from the whole stakeholder group
  • Be actors, not merely critics
  • Listen to each others point of views look for
    common agreements and solutions offer
    alternatives
  • Spend the work team time at the end of the agenda
    to review the feedback and incorporate it into
    your work
  • We are all on the same team!
