BACHELOR OF THEOLOGY

• The Bachelor of Theology was introduced in 2007,
  a three year program that offers theology and
  religious studies
• The Bachelor of Theology satisfies new
  certification requirements for chaplains and
  teachers of religious education in state and
  catholic high schools
• It provides a broad choice of theology and
  religious studies for those interested in
  progressing to postgraduate education
• The nature and content of this newly-designed
  program is intended to appeal to various mainline
  Christian Churches and their students, as well as
  students from other world Faiths, indigenous and
  overseas cultures.

BACHELOR OF THEOLOGY

• Program Description
• The program comprises studies in four areas of
  interest sacred texts, culture and context
  development of doctrine and practice religion,
  culture and society and systematic theology,
  ethics and philosophy.
• Students may also complete electives from a broad
  range of humanities and liberal arts disciplines
  such as religious studies, philosophy, sociology
  and studies in Greek.

• Career Opportunities
• Bachelor of Theology graduates can find work in a
  range of careers, including religious ministry,
  chaplaincy, youth ministry, healthcare work,
  welfare, and provides a background for religious
  teaching in schools and other educational
  organisations.
