Repairing Clothes
  • Patching - is the technique of sewing a small
    piece of fabric over a hole in a garment.
  • Fixing closures buttons, zippers
  • Pulled seams
  • Altering length

Average Cost for Mending Alterations
  • Shorten trousers--7.00/pair adults 4.00/pair
    children's
  • Let down hem/lengthen garment--trousers priced
    same as above. Narrow skirt 8.00, full skirt
    3.00 per foot of hem.
  • Shorten sleeves--15.00/shirt with cuffs button
    plackets. 5.00/shirt without cuffs.
  • Replace buttons 1.00 per button. If buttons are
