Self Portrait- What I look like

• My hair is the sandy Egyptian desert
• My eyes are the mossy lake in a rainforest
• My smile is the sparkling waterfall in Wyoming
• My body grows like a willow tree
• My fingers are like the many trees in Yellowstone
• My skin color is the sand in a playground
• My heart holds the center of imagination
• My brain is a clever cartoon that everyone loves
• I live in the clean office for three
• Eating cleanness and responsibility.

Free Verse- Daybreak in Disneyland

• Lets go to Disneyland.
• Hearing laughter, seeing happiness
• Joyful rides and scary rides.
• Smelling the wonderful smell of churros.
• Dont forget the delicious popcorn.
• Sighting the characters, sighting the joy.
• Freefalls, loop de loops, and big drops.
• Getting wet, having fun, lots of screams.
• Tower of Terror, my favorite ride.
• Parades, fireworks, laser lights.
• Booming music as loud as a moaning wolf.
• Seeing Mickey, almost as good as seeing the
  president.
• Tinker Bell soaring over the Disneyland castle.

Personification- The Evil Elevator

• The elevator tries to get rid of you
• by dropping you down to the starry Twilight Zone.
• The elevator doors open
• taking you to an unknown world.
• If it goes down it takes you with it.
• Shining stars flashing at the speed of light.

Color poem- Cupcakes

• The pink Valentines Day cupcake on the checkered
  counter looked to pretty to eat. It feels gooey
  and mushy. It smells delectable. Cupcakes taste
  wonderful and full of happiness. How do I know
  all these sometimes gross things, because Ive
  done them all.

• If I were in charge of the world, Id cancel
  shots and also death.
• If I were in charge of the world, thered be
  healthy delicious deserts, Dancing with the stars
  all year long, and no annoying boys.
• If I were in charge of the world, you wouldn't
  have spinach, braces or headgear. You wouldnt
  have weird rules, mean and you certainly wouldnt
  have Barney. If I were in charge of the world, I
  would be friends with any movie star.

• The T.V. is a visual transporter.
• Taking you to many worlds.
• Worlds with people, plants, animals, and food.
• Changing wherever you want to go. Discovering
  new, old, ancient, and important worlds.
• Taking you where you want to go.
