Meeting Objectives Provide a forum for
communicating key management issues to the TCM
members Maintain a product focus for the
committees customers (AIAA, other
committees/societies, TCM members) through the
meeting agenda topics Document a product from our
TCM meeting consistent with the themes TCM
Committee Member Meeting Prep Tasking Conduct
subcommittee meetings / discussions prior to the
TCM meeting including review of subcommittee
membership rosters and developing subcommittee
action plans. Subcommittee Chairs to prepare
concise subcommittee summaries for presentation
at meeting. Include action plans, subcommittee
special projects, issues, resources, and
recommendations. Ensure current address/e-mail
info is provided to Operations subcommittee/Steve
Pearson. Come prepared to contribute to the group
discussion session. Anticipated Meeting Results
/ Products Discussion of TCM sponsored
conference session at dinner / social. Theme
discussion Develop new theme develop
sub-topics and recommendations for actions and
products. Discuss closing of the current theme
project. Discuss details for future 2003/2004
meeting sites/hosts/sub-themes. Discuss Brochure
assignments and status.

  • One and a half days meeting and half of day tour
  • Need to know topics so Ned could look for local
    speaker
  • Schedule alternatives
  • Travel Tuesday (low airplane crowding), Oct 28.
    Meet Weds, formal dinner Weds night, tour
    Thursday morning, travel Thursday afternoon.
  • Travel Monday...everything one day earlier
  • Arrive Weds, go home Friday.
  • Stay in a hotel in the French Quarter. Ned will
    reserve a block of 20 or so rooms when we decide
    on the date.
  • Possible Tours
  • Visit Michoud where Shuttle ET is built (30
    minutes from hotel)
  • Visit Stennis where various engine testing is
    accomplished (70 minutes from hotel)
  • Visit Northrop Grumman Avondale Shipyard (30
    minutes from hotel)
