COPENHAGEN is Scandinavias largest and
liveliest city, home to a quarter of all Danes.
Capital of Denmark since the early 15th century,
Copenhagen grew by gradually radiating out from
its centre consequently most of the citys
foremost historical and cultural sites remain
concentrated in relatively small area. Parks,
gardens, water fountains and squares and green
areas lace the city center. Copenhagen has
repeatedly been recognized as one of the cities
with the best quality of life. It is also
recognized as one of the most environmentally
friendly cities in the world. You can get to know
the city by wheels there is large number of
bike lanes, which are actively used the locals -
36Â of citizens commute to work by bicycle,
every day bicycling a total 1.1 million km.

- The weather in Copenhagen is mild through all the
four seasons taking into account its northerly
location. Summers bring temperatures averaging
around 20C. Rainfall is moderate too, but spread
throughout the year, so showers are possible in
any season. - CURRENCY
- The local currency is the Danish krone (DKK),
which can be divided into 100 oere. 1 equals

5Getting here
- AIRPORTS
- KASTRUP
- Copenhagen is easily reached by excellent flight
connections with large number of airlines.
Kastrup only 10 kilometers away from the city
center is the largest airport in North Europe
and has been voted many times as the best airport
for example by Business Traveller Magazine. - Frequent metro and train connections take you
from the airport to the city center only in
matter of few minutes. - HOTEL SHIP
- Our Hotel ship during COP15 will be docked in
Frihavn. Having the following distances - 0,9 km Little Mermaid
- 10 km Bella Center, venue of COP15
- 6 km DGI-byen venue of the Climate Forum
- Bus transport to the Østerport station will be
organizedo on mornings and evenings distance
from the ship 1 km.

7Where are you going to stay?
M/F Norröna is a new ship, but used to sail the
Nordic Seas. During the COP15 it will be dock on
Copenhagen Coast line, in Frihavn, close to the
Little Mermaid, the symbol of Copenhagen. The
ship was built in 2005 and offers large variety
of services restaurants, cafeteria, meeting
facilities, fitness center, game room, night
club, movie theater, shop besides its 350
cabins with private bathrooms. The cabins have
amenities such as closets, televisions, hair
dryer, trouser press and the outside cabins have
even mini-fridges. As the ship is already in
the region, it will not sail empty from long
distance, respecting that way the spirit of COP15
and its greening principles.
8Where are you going to stay?
- FLEXIBLE ON-LINE BOOKING
- Cabins will be sold on day-by-day basis in order
to grant flexibility for the delegates. In order
to keep a high security level the ship will be
full-staffed 24-hours a day. - The cabins will be sold per cabin it is up to
each client to decide, if s/he wants to share the
cabin with other people. The maximum number of
people of each cabin type is visible in the
booking material. - Breakfast is not included in the cabin prices
but can be bought on the ship or as vouchers
already when booking. -
9Where are you going to stay?
CABINS The inside standard cabins can
accommodate up to 6 persons. The 6-berth cabins
are the only cabins without private bathrooms,
but with showers and toilets available close by.

private bathrooms, closets, hair dryer,
television and trouser press. Wireless Internet
available on board. Entire ship is non-smoking,
but there are covered and heated smoking areas on
the upper decks.
10Where are you going to stay?
SPACIOUS DELUX CABINS Our hotel ship offers also
luxury for those, who wish to have it. There is
one large suite and number of 2-berth luxury
rooms. Please find the details below Size
Price 2-berth lux 19,53 m² 2500 DKK Suite 55
m² 4375 DKK These rooms feature small seating
area and room service. Delux cabins have also
separate entrance, being located on their own
corridor accessible only for the guest in this
type of cabin. CABINS FOR PERSONS WITH
DISABILITIES M/F Norröna has also cabins for
persons with disabilities. These spacious cabins
have also especially equipped bathrooms.

12General conditions
Booking conditions and payment conditions 1.
Groups can make reservations, which have to be
paid by October 5, 2009. 2. All the transaction
costs are to be covered by the client. 3. All
reservations will be voided if we have not
received the payment within the stated time. 4.
All rates are quoted net in stated local
currency, and include all taxes applicable at the
time of printing, unless otherwise mentioned.
Rates and conditions are subject to change
without prior notice. 5. Kuoni is only acting as
a handling agent for the hotel ship, and has no
responsibility for personal damages. 6. Clients
cannot be refunded for unused services 7.
Eventual claims must be received in writing and
within 30 days after departure. 8. In case of
emergencies beyond the control of Kuoni, such as
war, disasters, swine flue epidemic making it
illegal or impossible to provide the facilities
of the ships as a hotel it is without
responsibility of Kuoni to cancel the
accommodation in the ship.
Cancellation conditions By cancellation before
October 15, 2009 1 night deposit will be
charged. By cancellation from October 15, 2009
and onwards the entire reservation payment plus
handling fee will be charged.
