Sacramental Prayers

• We will learn to sign the Sacrament prayers for
  bread and water in ASL.

Bread

• O God, the Eternal Father,
• We ask thee in the name of thy son, Jesus Christ,
• To bless and sanctify this bread

• THOU, GOD, ETERNAL FATHER
• WE ASK THEE WITH NAME THY SON, HIM JESUS CHRIST,
• BLESS BREAD (point to bread) SANCTIFY BENEFIT

• To the souls of all those who partake of it
• That they may eat in remembrance of the body of
  thy Son,

• ALL THEY(point at congregation) SPIRITTHEMSELVES
  EAT,
• THUS CAN REMEMBER THY SON, HIS BODY,

• And witness unto thee, O God, the Eternal Father,
  
• That they are willing to take upon the name of
  thy Son,

• AND SHOW THEE, THOU GOD, ETERNAL FATHER,
• THEY WANT THY SON, HIS NAME ACCEPT

• And always remember him,
• And keep his commandments which he hath given
  them,

• AND ALWAYS REMEMER HIM
• AND HIS COMMANDMENTS (CL5 LIST) HIMSELF FINISH
  DISTRIBUTE, FOLLOW

• That they may always have his Spirit to be with
  them.
• Amen

• THUS CAN HIS SPIRIT ALWAYS WITH THEM.
• AMEN.

Water

• O God, the Eternal Father,
• We ask thee in the name of thy son, Jesus Christ,
• To bless and sanctify this water

• THOU, GOD, ETERNAL FATHER
• WE ASK THEE WITH NAME THY SON, HIM JESUS CHRIST,
• BLESS WATER (point to water)) SANCTIFY BENEFIT

• To the souls of all those who drink of it
• That they may eat in remembrance of the blood of
  thy Son, which was shed for them,

• ALL THEY(point at congregation) SPIRITTHEMSELVES
  DRINK,
• THUS CAN REMEMBER THY SON, HIS BLOOD HIMSELF
  FINISH SHED FOR THEM,

• That they may witness unto thee, O God, the
  Eternal Father,
• That they do always remember him

• THUS CAN SHOW THOU GOD, ETERNAL FATHER,
• THEY ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM

• That they may have his Spirit to be with them.
• Amen.

• THUS CAN HIS SPIRIT WITH THEM.
• AMEN
