MPA Progress

• Legal Agreement between Washtenaw County and
  Local Units of Government that sets the
  foundation for the use of public assets in
  exchange for wireless service.

  Freedom, Lyndon, Manchester, Scio, Superior, York

Proposed Governance Structure

• Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners
• Holds and Administers Contracts

• Executive Operations Committee
• Membership includes 11 representatives, including
  County Administrator or designee and County
  Commissioner
• Additional members appointed by the Stakeholder
  Committee with regional representation
• Make recommendations to Board of Commissioners on
  service and technical issues
• Meets quarterly

• Strategic Advisory Committee
• County Administrator appoints 11 representatives
  from key collaborators and community stakeholders
• Provides strategic direction and vision
• Participates in key meetings and milestones
• Meets biannually

• Stakeholder Committee
• Membership includes one representative from each
  participant that signs the MPA
• Ensures quality service and constituency
  satisfaction
• Meets biannually

• Wireless Washtenaw Project Team
