St Manche Masemola was born in Marishane,
Sukhukhuneland. She later attended baptism
preparation classes twice a week at the mission.
Her parents forbade her from going, but she
ignored them. 1927 Manches parents began beating
her, sometimes twice a day. 1928 on or around 4th
February Manche died in the hands of her parents.
She was buried in the grave that stands as the
museum of all faith pilgrimages.
The Nile crocodiles pose as a tourism potential
around Flag Boshielo Dam which is significant for
fishing and crocodile watching. The National
Geographic Channel has been to Flag Boshielo to
produce more documentaries on the Dam for its
resident crocodile population. Flag Boshielo Dam
is enabling delivery of new water supplies to
communities of Makhuduthamaga and Greater Marble
Hall.

Greater Marble Hall is predominantly
agricultural, and has significant land that banks
the great Flag Boshielo Dam. The Cotton City of
Marble Hall is also the nest to sophisticated
Crocodile family resident to Flag Boshielo
Dam In Greater Tubatse platinum mining is
proving to be fast growing and high impact
sector. The building of De Hoop Dam to the tune
of R4 Billion and its completion in 2010 will
definitely bring about lots of economic spin-offs
in terms of tourism, hospitality industry, and
farming activities. The Dam will also drive the
mining boom in terms of creating an enabling
environment for the activation of existing mines
and those that have prospected and not yet
started mining. Elias Motsoaledi is one of the
largest and most prosperous municipalities of our
District. This is attributed to its strong
agricultural, trade and service sectors which
are the biggest employers, in terms of locality.
The town of Groblersdal is the main commercial
node for the entire municipal area and also
serves the other Greater Sekhukhune local areas.
In its commercial farming sector, maize, tobacco,
cotton, sunflower, citrus fruit and vegetables
are the main crops.
