Mosquitoes can lay up to 400 eggs per egg raft at
one time

Larvae
  • Mosquito larvae go through 4 stages of
    development before they become pupae
  • It takes about 5-10 days to reach the pupal stage
    depending on the species and weather conditions

  • Mosquitoes spend 2-3 days during this stage of
    development
  • This is the final stage before they become adults
  • Mosquitoes will no longer live in water after
    this

  • An adult mosquito feeds on plant nectar the first
    few days of life

    only live a few days
