2Purposes of Home Stay Programme
- To enrich participants cultural experience
- To promote the friendship among students in Hong
Kong and Singapore - To enhance students communicative skills and
language abilities.
3Expectation to host families
- Communicate with our guests in English or
Mandarin. - Host 1 or 2 guest in each family.
- Offer private room or a shared bedroom for each
guest. - Provide a comfortable bed and clean linen in the
room. - Provide a closet, desk and chair in the room.
- Keep good ventilation in the house.
- Offer free meals ( breakfast, lunch and dinner)
for the guest. - Provide an internet access for the guest if
necessary. - Arrange at least one free outdoor activity for
the guest. - Upon guest arrival, host family should
familiarize the guest with area, and give the
guest some good safety tips. - Prepare a souvenir for the guest.
- Provide enough daily necessity for the guest (
e.g. shampoo, bath ) - Provide free transport services
- ( To and fro the School, Home , Venue for
the Farewell Party )
Report to the teacher-in-charge of the school if
any emergency happens!
