Who we are

• Uzbek Initiative is a global network of young
  professionals with positive and altruistic mind,
  whose purpose is to increase the knowledge and
  understanding of Uzbek Society and culture
  around the world.
• Our mission is to empower Uzbek society and
  global cultural exchange.
• We seek to enhance network and promote
  initiatives in fields of development, business,
  education, arts, charity-fundraising projects and
  culture.

• Uzbek Society has always been diverse, with 100
  ethnic groups live in peace harmony Uzbeks,
  Russians, Jews, Ukrainians, Koreans, Tajiks,
  Kazakhs, Karakalpaks, Tatars, Armenians,
  Turkish,Byelorussians, Uyghurs, Turkmen, Kyrgyz,
  Persians Muslims, Eastern Orthodox, Jews and
  Buddhists.

History

• Idea of Uzbek Initiative has enthused in 2006,
  in Antigua, Guatemala. When Farkhod Frnak
  Muradov discovered the father of Algebra Al
  Jabre al Kwarasmi on the front page of Algebra
  Textbook in Central/Latin America.
• The idea to unite Uzbek-related young
  professionals around the world was implemented in
  the US by young professionals from Uzbekistan in
  New York and Washington D.C.
• With first kick-off event - Uzbek Connections in
  Turkestanian American Association, Uzbek
  Initiative has started off in November 24 2007.
  This historic event introduced young professional
  from Uzbekistan to American Uzbeks.
• With experimental purposes, Uzbek Initiative has
  started off on facebook and now has over 1000
  members worldwide. Our new network-website
  www.uzbekinitiative.org was released last week.

• Uzbek Initiative is a NETWORK of young
  professionals with good will, whose purpose is to
  increase the knowledge and understanding of Uzbek
  society and culture around the world and to
  empower Uzbek community and global-cultural
  exchange.

• The Credo is a set of principles of Uzbek
  Initiative and every member shall abide by these
  key rules to join Uzbek Initiative

Moving forward

• For the past nine months, we, Uzbek Initiative,
  have organized more than 25 events and with no
  financial support. We attracted more than 10,000
  people to our events and we are growing strongly,
  than never before.
• Global presence in almost every major city and
  country of the world. Growing every day with more
  young professionals joining our network.
• Every event has been organized on initiative and
  enthusiasm of young professionals, from all walks
  of life
• Organized many events in cooperation with
  various other academic, business, community and
  regional organizations and groups
