Compilation of the 2004 Rulemaking Calendar
  • Required to be submitted to OAL annually for
    publication
  • Required by APA and Executive Order
  • Lists the regulations to be developed and adopted
    in the coming year
  • Compiled with input from regulations coordinators
    from each Board Division

  • 25 rulemaking packages listed
  • 13 are carried over from 2003 calendar with
    revised projected dates
  • 8 are new on this years Calendar
  • (listed on page 29-3 of item)

Effect of Calendar
  • The Board is not bound by the projected dates
  • The Board may add new packages if they were not
    reasonably anticipated
  • Emergency regulations need not be listed
  • We have added a few to the Calendar in previous
    years

    clearly adverse consequence to the public good
    such as to constitute an emergency

Recent Clarification
