PCRS Programs
  • Youth Housing Registry Housing Assistance
  • BYRC maintains up-to-date information related to
    vacancies assistance in securing keeping
    accommodations. This is a city-wide service,
    information is provided to other MCFD funded
    youth centres.
  • Vietnamese Youth Program
  • A community development approach to working with
    Vietnamese Youth their families. Services
    include group activities, 1-to1 support,
    referrals, engaging Vietnamese youth in arts
    culture, recreation, volunteer opportunities
    peer support

  • Resource Room
  • Provides a walk-in, youth friendly environment to
    allow youth to access a range of referral
    information services. This is also an
    opportunity for youth to check out and self
    identify other services available at the centre.

  • Youth Volunteers
  • All youth at the centre are encouraged to
    participate in the on-going volunteer program.
    This program provides youth with opportunities to
    participate in a variety of activities that can
    get listed on their resumes for future employment.

  • Youth to Adult Transition Program
  • This program is for youth under the age of 19.
    Individual, group caregiver support services
    are available upon referral from the designated
    social worker. Groups workshops are also
    available.
  • Aboriginal Youth Victim Support Program
  • Provides support, information assistance to
    Aboriginal youth who are victims of physical
    sexual violence by providing them with
    information, education, referral to counselling
    services, guiding them through the legal system.

  • Eagle High
  • Eagle High is an Alternate School/Day Counselling
    Program for 30 students delivered at 2830
    Grandview Highway, in partnership with VSB, MCFD,
    UNYA.
