USG-sponsored and SOROS exchange programs alumni

- Spouses of US citizens working overseas
4TRAINING OF VOLUNTEERS (Azeri nationals)
- Familiarization with the Centers resources
- Familiarization with the education system of the
USA and host country, accreditation, admission,
testing, financial aid, advising procedures (
training manual) - Observations of the first sessions by staff
5ACTIVITIES (Azeri nationals)
- Advising ( Azeri nationals) ( procedures of
participation in fellowship programs,
applications,tests, interviews, admissions to US
Universities, etc) - Handling the correspondence
- Registration of visitors
- Answering the telephone
- Organizing events ( IEW, fair )
- Providing visitors with Centers visual aids,
materials - Assisting in research
- Maintaining the library
6ACTIVITIES ( Foreign nationals and US-educated
local nationals )
- TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, SAT preparation class
- Intermediate EL course
- Lectures on education system of the USA,
accreditation, admission, applications ( mainly
US citizens, specialized in education) - Preparation of students for fellowship programs
interviews - English Conversation Clubs (both Azeri and
foreign nationals)
