The Curriculum

• 4 AS Levels
• 10 hours taught per subject over a 2 week cycle
• Plus up to 3 hours of homework per week
• There is NEVER - No Homework

• AS General Studies (2 hours per cycle)
• Recreation/Leisure/Community Service (2 hours
  per cycle)
• Tutorials (PSHE/Careers/Enrichment and Fun
  Fridays)
• Study Time in School (until Christmas)

Examinations

• Coursework throughout the year
• Jan and June
• AS Grades are important Half A2 score
• A2 courses start in June students must return
  in June to the end of the Summer Term.
• Students MUST pass at least 3 AS subjects with
  grade E or above

Transition to Year 13

• Choose to complete 3 subjects to A2
• Post 18 Day June
• Visit to Higher Education Event at Leeds
  Metropolitan University June
• Open days at University
