• A verb tells what something or someone does.
• A verb is the doing word in a sentence.

• When reading a sentence ask yourself
• What word in this sentence is something that I
  could do. That is the verb.
• Examples I could- walk, talk, sing, hop, write,
  think, paint, play, like, etc.
