    volunteerism.
  • Chicago Cares works closely with community
leaders to identify needs, create tailored group
volunteer projects and mobilize thousands of

  • Chicago Cares more than 200 monthly projects
focus on childrens and adult education, hunger,
health and wellness, senior services and the

16th Annual Serve-a-thon
  • The Serve-a-thon is Chicagos largest day of
service. More than 8,000 volunteers will register
to show their commitment to our citys schools as
we paint, plant, clean, organize and build at 40
    schools across our city.
  • The Serve-a-thon is a fundraiser that works like
a walk-a-thon, but instead of walking, volunteers
revitalize an under-resourced school, creating a
vibrant space for children to learn and grow.
